The EST SIGA-PS intelligent photoelectric smoke detector is used to provide reliable, early fire warning in commercial and residential properties by effectively detecting the large smoke particles produced by slow, smoldering fires. It operates as a component of a compatible Edwards EST addressable fire alarm system, rather than as a standalone unit. 

An optical smoke detector, also known as a photoelectric smoke alarm, is a fire safety device that detects smoke by using a light-based sensing method. It is highly effective at identifying the large particles of smoke typically produced by slow, smoldering fires.

Vesda-E VEA Addressable Aspiration Smoke Detector with LEDs

The VESDA-E VEA series of detectors combine VESDA reliability and early warning smoke detection with pinpoint addressability and a variety of annunciation options that truly surpass traditional spot detectors. They use patented air sampling points and multi-channel microbore air-sampling with three alarm sensitivity settings for the sampling points. The EST SIGA-PHD intelligent multi-sensor detector with the SIGA-SB standard base is used to provide advanced and reliable fire detection in a wide range of commercial, industrial, and residential applications. The device combines two sensing technologies to detect both smoldering and fast-flaming fires efficiently while minimizing false alarms. 

A fire response indicator is a small, remote visual alarm device, usually an LED light, that is wired in parallel to a smoke or heat detector. Its primary function is to quickly and clearly show which specific detector has been triggered in areas where the detector itself is not easily visible or accessible, such as above false ceilings, inside ducts, or in locked rooms.
